Hot Toddy Cold Pressed Juice

I love cold pressed juices, however, sometimes in the winter they are too chilling. I created this green juice that can be served cold or hot. Technically, not green, this bright orange vegetable juice is packed with anti inflammatory nutrients and cancer fighting antioxidants.

The juice will keep for three days in the refrigerator. Use organic produce. I always strain my juice to create a smoother, tastier juice.

For the hot toddy:
2 carrots
1 sweet potato
1 apple
1 knob of ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
pinch of cardamom
pinch of cloves
Peel and juice everything. Warm juice gently with spices. Makes enough for two.

with love + light,
Julia
