How to Eliminate Candida Overgrowth
General Overgrowth:
- Eat well: your diet should be 90% vegetables, fish, meat, and healthy fat.
- Take probiotics.
- Daily eat yogurt and other prebiotic foods like sunchokes, bananas, garlic, onion, and dandelion greens.
- Take vitamin C supplements
- Drink teas: peppermint, ginger, fennel, lemongrass, and echinacea teas contain antifungal properties.
- Limit sugar in all its forms.
Vaginal Yeast Infections:
- Do not use tampons. Use pads, natural cotton if possible. Change frequently.
- Wear cotton underwear - one during the day, a new one at night. Wash underwear in hot water.
- When you can, go panty free.
- If you wear leggings without underwear, wash leggings in hot water.
- All towels and washcloths are single use, best to wash in hot water with bleach if possible.
- Coat vaginal canal and vulva with live yogurt once a day.
- Avoid water based lubricants
