does not make the elixir spicy. Black pepper assist the body’s absorption of curcumin - the active ingredient in turmeric
Recipe:
Grate one knob of turmeric. Simmer in 4 cups of water with a healthy pinch to ¼ teaspoon black pepper.
Strain the elixir. Add the juice of one orange and one lemon. Add 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. You can enjoy this hot or cold. Cold is my favorite with the heat.
